Honey Hot Peachy Wings

Serves 6 |
The right amount of sweet and spicy heat.
Ingredients:
Oil, for frying |
3 lb chicken wings |
1 teaspoon paprika |
Salt, to taste |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
4 tablespoons butter |
2 teaspoons minced garlic |
1/2 cup peach preserves |
1/4 cup hot sauce |
1 tablespoon soy sauce |
Directions:
- Pour oil into a deep fryer. Bring to 350° F.
- Place the chicken wings in a large bowl. Season the wings with paprika, salt and garlic powder. Toss until well coated. Set aside.
- Deep fry the wings for 12-15 minutes, in batches if needed.
- While the wings are cooking, place the butter and minced garlic in a pot. Place on the stove and set to medium heat. Cook and stir until the butter is melted.
- Add the peach preserves, hot sauce and soy sauce to the pot. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring often, until the sauce begins to thicken.
- Use tongs to transfer the wings to a paper towel lined plate to drain.
- Place the wings to a large bowl. Pour the sauce over the wings and toss to coat.
- Transfer the wings to a large plate and enjoy!
