Serves 4 |
Two foods come together to make a masterpiece.

Ingredients:

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
4 rolls
1/2 lb Italian sausage
Pepperoni slices
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
Grated Parmesan cheese
8 slices Mozzarella cheese
8 tablespoons marinara sauce
4 hamburger buns

Directions:

  1. Mix together Italian seasoning, ground beef and sausage in a mixing bowl. Knead together to make for patties.
  2. Turn stovetop to medium heat. Place one patty in at a time, fry for 4-6 minutes per side. Place two slices of cheese on top, then layer on pepperoni. Cook until cheese melts and pepperonis are warm. Repeat until all patties are finished.
  3. Cut rolls or buns in half, toast exposed sides until golden brown in a skillet. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on each side then sprinkle Parmesan cheese.
  4. Place burger patties in the buns, place top bun on to form a burger and enjoy!
