Turkey Teriyaki Burgers

Serves 4 | 
Deliciously tangy and sweet.

Ingredients:

1 lb ground turkey
1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce, more for basting
1 egg
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
4 burger buns, toasted

Directions:

  1. Preheat grill to medium.
  2. Combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, teriyaki sauce, egg, garlic, soy sauce, ginger, onion and pepper in a mixing bowl. Shape into four burger patties.
  3. Place burgers on hot grill and cook for about 5 minutes per side. Brush burgers with additional teriyaki sauce before flipping. Brush freshly cooked side with teriyaki sauce and cook for about 5 minutes.
  4. Transfer teriyaki turkey burgers to toasted hamburger buns and enjoy!
