Ingredients:

2 tablespoons olive oil
3 chicken breasts, halved
1 jar marinara sauce, 24 oz.
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
3/4 teaspoon dried basil
1 box shell pasta, 16 oz.
Salt, to taste
Ground black pepper, to taste

Directions:

  1. Drizzle a large skillet with olive oil and bring to medium-high heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Place the chicken in a skillet and cook 2-3 minutes per side, until browned. Set chicken aside.
  3. Remove skillet from heat. Reduce temperature to medium-low.
  4. Pour marinara sauce, Parmesan cheese, and basil into the skillet. Stir to combine. Place chicken into the sauce and spoon sauce over top to cover completely. Cover the skillet and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. While chicken is cooking in the skillet, preheat oven to broil and cook pasta.
  6. Transfer chicken and the sauce into a baking dish. Top chicken with mozzarella and broil for 3-4 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
