Thai-Style Chicken Thighs

Sweet, tangy and utterly delicious!

Ingredients:

1/4 cup fish sauce
2 tablespoons canola oil
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
1 tablespoon lime zest
1/4 cup chopped Thai basil
1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro
2 green onions, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 teaspoons freshly grated ginger
8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs

Directions:

  1. Combine the fish sauce, lime juice, lime zest, Thai basil, cilantro, green onions, dark brown sugar, Kosher salt, black pepper and grated ginger in a mixing bowl. Stir together until well combined.
  2. Place chicken thighs in a sealable container. Pour the marinade over top. Place the lid on top and coat chicken thighs in the marinade. Place in the refrigerator to marinate for 2 hours.
  3. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove chicken thighs from container and discard marinade.
  5. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 5 minutes per side, until cooked through.
  6. Transfer to serving plates and enjoy!
