Serves 4 |
Ground beef, spinach, feta and sun-dried tomatoes.
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 large egg |
2 oz crumbled feta cheese |
1/3 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes |
5 oz baby spinach, chopped |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
Olive oil, for drizzling |
4 hamburger buns, toasted |
Baby spinach leaves, for serving |
Sliced shallot, for serving |
Sliced tomato, for serving |
Tzatziki sauce, for serving |
Directions:
- Combine the ground beef, egg, feta cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, baby spinach and salt in a mixing bowl. Roll into four relatively equal size balls and gently press them down to form patties. Place the patties into the refrigerator to chill for 1 hour.
- Drizzle a small amount of olive oil into the pan. Bring the pan to medium-high heat. Once hot, reduce the heat to medium and add the patties. Cook for about 6 minutes, until light brown. Flip the patties and cook for about 5 minutes. Transfer the patties to a plate.
- Place the patties on each bottom bun. Top the patties with baby spinach, shallots, and tomato. Drizzle the Tzatziki sauce over top and complete the burger by placing on the top bun. Enjoy!
