Simple Coconut Macaroons

Only a few ingredients are needed to create this tasty treat.

Ingredients:

1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
3 egg whites
14 oz sweetened shredded coconut
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325° F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine vanilla extract, egg whites, kosher salt and sugar in a mixing bowl. Whisk together very well, until foamy.
  3. Fold shredded coconut into mixture and stir together.
  4. Scoop a small amount of batter out and place on the baking sheet.
  5. Place baking sheet in oven and bake 20-25 minutes.
