Guinness Bread

Serves 4-6 Servings | 

Ingredients:

5 cups whole-grain flour
1 1/4 cup plain flour
3/4 cup oatmeal
2 1/2 tsp bread soda
1 tsp salt
2 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
2 1/2 tbsp butter
2 cups whole milk
3/4 cup black molasses
1 cup Guinness Draught

Directions:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350F.
  2. Mix butter with all dry ingredients until the dough develops to the consistency of breadcrumbs. Add milk, black molasses and Guinness Draught. Mix until consistency reaches a wet dough.
  3. Bake in a greased bread tin for 40-45 minutes.
