Chili Lime Sirloin Steak

Savory and zingy with a hint of sweetness.

Ingredients:

1 lb boneless sirloin steak
2 tablespoons chili paste
2 tablespoons lime juice
2 teaspoons lime zest
1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic paste
1 tablespoon honey

Directions:

  1. Place steak in a resealable bag. Add chili paste, lime juice, lime zest, salt, pepper, olive oil, garlic paste and honey. Coast steak evenly with the marinade. Let sit for 20 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet to medium-high heat. Remove steak from the bag and discard marinade. Place steak in the skillet and cook for 4-6 minutes per side, until nicely browned.
  3. Remove from skillet and place on a plate. Tent aluminum foil over the steak and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
