Slow Cooker Bourbon Apple Butter Meatballs

Serves 6 | 
Sweet and smoky with a little tangy goodness.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup bourbon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup apple butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 lb frozen homestyle meatballs

Directions:

  1. Add the ketchup, bourbon, salt, apple butter, brown sugar, garlic powder, black pepper, onion powder, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar to a small bowl. Stir to combine.
  2. Pour the frozen meatballs into the slow cooker. Then pour the sauce mixture over the frozen meatballs.
  3. Place the lid on and cook for 6-7 hours on low or for 3-4 hours on high. Stirring occasionally.
  4. Enjoy while hot.
