Terrific Turkey Gravy

No holiday meal is complete without the gravy.

Ingredients:

4 tablespoons turkey drippings
2 tablespoons unsalted Butter
3 tablespoons flour
2 cups chicken stock
Kosher salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste

Directions:

  1. Stir together the turkey drippings and the unsalted butter in a saucepan on low heat.
  2. Whisk in flour and cook to form a roux that is lightly browned.
  3. Slowly add chicken stock, stirring constantly until smooth. Simmer 10 minutes.
  4. Adjust seasonings with salt and pepper.
